For our client in the automotive sector, we are looking for a (Junior) Vehicle Development Engineer with a strong passion for vehicle technology and innovation. As a (Junior) Vehicle Development Engineer, you will be involved in the development, testing, and optimization of modern vehicle systems. You will support vehicle and component testing activities and contribute to improving powertrain and emission-related performance.
Your responsibilities include:Supporting vehicle endurance testing and engine test bench activities
Participating in measurement, testing, and validation drives on road and test tracks
Analyzing, evaluating, and documenting measurement data (e.g. emissions, catalytic converter behavior)
Supporting the design and development of vehicle components and systems
Working closely with development, design, and test teams to implement technical solutions

Bachelor's degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical study
Initial experience in the automotive industry through internships, working student positions, or traineeships
Experience with CAD software such as CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX
Basic knowledge of vehicle testing, measurement techniques, or emission systems
Strong analytical skills and a structured, quality-oriented way of working
Very good command of German, good to very good command of English
Team-oriented mindset with a high level of motivation to learn and grow
