Brunel is recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst for a technical support environment.

What are you going to do

Pre-Matching validation vacancy for AUSNZ C MAIN.

This MAIN role is intentionally configured as an IT desktop support vacancy so the Scenario C candidate is rejected for the applied vacancy while the expired HIST vacancy remains the relevant reference match.

Responsibilities include walk-up technical support, Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, Active Directory account support, hardware and printer support, ticket handling, and ServiceNow updates.

Tester rule: apply candidate CVs to MAIN vacancies only. ALT and HIST vacancies are system-side reference vacancies.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Required experience for this MAIN vacancy:

  • Desktop Support or Service Desk experience
  • Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows laptop, printer, and mobile device troubleshooting
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticket management
  • Customer-facing walk-up support and clear communication
  • Ability to prioritise incidents and service requests

Experimental physics, muon tomography calibration, photomultiplier gain balancing, cryogenic detector testing, and laboratory calibration experience are not relevant to this role.
